Storytime at Blue Manatee

Now that you're getting bigger(sigh), we are starting to branch out into the world of play dates and planned activities. So far, we've done story time at the Blue Manatee Bookstore and ArtPlay at the contemporary arts museum as well as free play at the Children's Museum. You love going out and exploring these new worlds and enjoying the company of a new friend or two. As you are now, I hope you will always have this strong desire to explore new things without fear. Generally your fearlessness terrifies me but it can also astonish me at times. Oh, yeah, it has also been known to make me a little sad. Seeing kids a little older than you, fearful to leave their mama's side-and here Lyla goes, running off to the next adventure. Maybe you could--every once in a while--hold onto my leg or look back to make sure I'm following. Maybe?
