9 minute bliss

These past 16 months I've wondered if you'd ever slow down. You'd once spent a few seconds quietly against me, but not again. So, I'd begun to think not. But, today, I received one of the treats of lifetime. Mama and I had laid down to watch a movie and you'd begun your usual high energy play. Suddenly, you came over, plopped down against me, and just snuggled against me for 9 whole minutes. I am sure (certainly hopeful!) that more times like this will happen in our future. But I will never ever forget these first 9 blissful minutes of you snuggling against me. Never.
