Dah!

Lyla I had a wonderful day with you yesterday. We watched a little TV together as a family (just a little between baby pool bouts). As you lay against me, you pulled each of my hands around you. You put them on your belly so I held you in an embrace and you held each hand. You've never done that. Later that night, much later, I lay in bed listening to you and your Mama sleep. Suddenly you called out cheerfully 'Dah!' (your current word for look 'look at that!' You kept right on sleeping. I stifled my giggles so I didn't wake you or Mama. I thought back across the day and felt so amazingly lucky. I love you girl.
