Lyla, as we were coming home from a fun morning with nana, we tried to turn onto our street to get home only to be told by the construction crew that we had to come back in 10 minutes. The entrance to our street was being fixed. You got upset and asked why we couldn't go home. Nana told you we could go home soon, but we had to wait until they fixed the road; that they were making the road stronger. You then replied with this question: "they are putting protein in it?" Hah! I'm really glad you listen to me when we talk about the need to eat healthy foods so we can grow to be strong and healthy!
