Nana Sitting

Lyla, tonight Mama and I plan to go see the Alvin Ailey Dance Troupe. You've known for days that Nana will come babysit you tonight. To say you feel excited would dramatically understate your feelings. This morning the first words out of your mouth were literally, "Is today Nana sitting day?" You followed that with "Will she be here soon?" After lunch, you crawled up in the picture window where you usually look for Nana and asked me when she would arrive. I said "2 hours." Literally 30 seconds later you asked, "How many minutes now?" You've asked me every minute or two for about 20 minutes straight. You're still looking out the picture window.
