Mouse

Lyla, you've been exposed to tablets and smartphones your whole life. When you first were old enough to sit at my computer you, of course, tried to swipe the screen the way you do on the iPad. For four years I've sat behind you with my hand on the mouse moving things on the screen in the direction you swiped. I've never shown you how to work the mouse. Today (you're 4 years 10 months old) you wanted to see something lower on the screen. My jaw dropped as you just reached right out, grabbed the mouse, and scrolled to want you wanted to see. I'm still amazed!
