Lyla, we've wondered with you whether you'd stop using your pacifier when you turned 4. Today (your birthday) you came downstairs, put your pacifier on the counter, and said "I'm 4 now, I don't need a pacifier."
Later in the day you had your pacifier in your mouth. I asked, "I thought you said you didn't need a pacifier now that you are 4?"
You replied so wonderfully and simply.
"I was wrong."
